DOOMRIDERS AUSTRALIAN TOUR JULY 2011
Boston’s Doomriders are sonically antisocial and undeniably unforgettable as they come. Comprised of a stellar lineup starring Converge bassist Nate Newton on guitar and vocals alongside longtime friends Jebb Riley (Disappearer), Chris Pupecki (Cast Iron Hike), and new drummer Q (Clouds), Doomriders are a rare beast in today’s music world. The demon child of their collective unhealthy obsession with classic rock, hardcore, and skateboarding, their soulful no frills approach conjures the spirits of Thin Lizzy’s guitar harmonies and Motörhead’s high-octane grime, making Doomriders approach one hell of a rebellious and exciting musical ride.
In July the Boston foursome make their maiden trip to Australia where they will be touring with Canberra’s I Exist, this being their first tour off the back of their new album “II: The Broken Passage”.

Melbourne’s Confession is currently in Gothenburg, Sweden tracking their new full-length, the follow up to 2009′s Cancer. The latest record will be produced by Fredrik Nordström whose production credits include Bring Me The Horizon, I Killed The Prom Queen and In Flames.
Frontman Michael Crafter commented “We spent time in Byron Bay at the Parkway house writing this record. Hopefully some of the magic the house has brought forward in the past shines through on these new songs. The new album is something we are proud of and touches on a lot of things in and around the lives we live. We decided to head to Sweden due to the fact European’s know metal and we feel Frederik will make this CD sound massive and he will bring a lot to the table as far as production and ideas go”

PARKWAY DRIVE HIT THE WAVES IN NEW VIDEO FOR “KARMA”
Taking fans deep into the essence of their core, Parkway Drive have unleashed a new music video “Karma” that features the band performing on the beach and on their boards, mastering both surf tricks and music, unlike anything you have seen before.
Set on the beaches of Dolphins Beach, Byron Bay, “Karma”, the second clip from Deep Blue, gives fans a glimpse of Parkway Drive in their element, a place where heavy riffs meet the serenity of the shoreline and where hardcore breakdowns meet offshore breaks. “We saw a real opportunity for a unique video for a band of this style,” said director Caleb Graham, who draws from his experience directing surf videos. “It’s something that represents the bands lifestyle in a fun and accurate way.”
