Outbreak Australian tour this week
Outbreak’s Australian Tour gets underway this week. Joining them will be Miles Away and on certain legs of the tour Jaws and God So Loved The World. Please note the Melbourne all ages show is no longer at the Boatshed, a new venue will be announced asap. Check shows page for details.

Prepare To Burn Festival
Parkway Drive have been added to both dates of Prepare To Burn Festival in Melbourne. An 18+ show will be on November 17 at The Hi Fi Bar with an All Ages show on the 18th at the Camberwell Centre. Different line ups will be featured over the 2 days, showcasing some of the best heavy music bands in Australia. Included in the line ups over the 2 days will be Parkway Drive, Carpathian, Her Nightmare, Cry Murder, Against, God So Loved The World, The Abandonement, The Red Shore as well as special guests from the US, Himsa. Avail Australian tour this week!
Hardly in need of any introduction, AVAIL boasts heavyweight status as one of America’s longest running punk bands of merit. Originally conceived in the suburbs and shadow of late ’80s DC hardcore, the band soon relocated to Richmond, Virginia where the band has called home for the past 15 years. Having toured Australia in 1998 with Lagwagon, this month will see Avail return down under for the first time in 8 years. Check shows page for details.

Parkway Drive/Himsa/Cry Murder November tour
Having just completed the national run of Rockstar Taste Of Chaos, Parkway Drive are set to commence their first headline tour in Australia since April, this November. Joining Parkway Drive will be US band Himsa and Adelaide’s Cry Murder. Himsa hail from the streets of Seattle and through constant touring with the likes of Bleeding Through, Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, As I Lay Dying, Shadows Fall, Danzig, Chimaira and The Black Dahlia Murder, Himsa has continually upped the ante as a touring machine. Prior to the Himsa tour Parkway Drive will play ‘Hardcore Halloween’ at Byron Activity Centre on Oct 31 and have a few other shows later in November including Sound Fest in Canberra, be sure to check the shows page for details.

God So Loved The World touring with Rise Against
Adelaide’s God So Loved The World have been announced as support for the upcoming Rise Against shows (except for Perth). Miles Away will be supporting Rise Against in Perth. Both GSLTW and Miles Away will join Outbreak on their upcoming tour commencing later this month.

God So Loved The World out now
God So Loved The World’s debut self titled EP is now instores. The 10″ vinyl version will be available next week, October 16. GSLTW are launching the EP on October 14 at The Underground in Adelaide and will join Miles Away and Outbreak on all the dates (except for Perth) of the Australian tour later in the month.

Parkway Drive Taste of Chaos and Halloween shows
Having recently returned home from 5 months of touring throughout Europe, UK and USA, Parkway Drive will this month be touring as part of the Taste of Chaos Festival. They will also be playing a Halloween show in Byron Bay at the Youth Activity Centre on Oct 31. Tickets go on sale on Oct 11th, check shows page for details.

God So Loved The World launch
Adelaide’s, God So Loved The World debut self titled EP will be available on October 9. Including 6 brand new tracks with 6 bonus tracks taken from their now out of press demo, a limited edition 10″ version of the EP will also be available and instores on October 9. The guys are launching the EP on Oct 14 at The Underground in Adelaide and will join Miles Away and Outbreak on all the dates (except for Perth) of the Australian tour later in the month. Resist Records tour
Not since 2004 has there been a Resist Records Tour. This December will see bands from the label touring throughout Australia including dates in Perth, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Each city will feature a different line up, stay tuned for dates and line ups.

Carpathian New Zealand tour
Having recently completed dates with Atreyu, 36 Crazyfists and 3, Carpathian will be heading to New Zealand this December. They will also be playing select dates on I Killed The Prom Queen’s Tour in October as well as Soundfest in Canberra in November. After the New Zealand dates Carpathian will once again be on the road where they will be touring as part of the Resist Records tour in December.
