New Resist titles now available
3 new releases are in stores this week – Parkway Drive ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’ CD reissue, The Hope Conspiracy ‘Death Knows Your Name’ CD and Miles Away Brainwashed 7″. The limited edition Miles Away 7″s are now only available in 3 different colours, yellow, red and white.

God So Loved The World EP launch
God So Loved The World will be launching their debut EP on October 14 at the Underground in Adelaide. The self-titled EP, includes 6 brand new tracks with 6 bonus tracks taken from their now out of press demo. A limited edition 10″ version of the EP will also be available and instores on October 9. Due to manufacturing difficulties out of our control both Parkway Drive and The Hope Conspiracy new releases are delayed to Sept 25. Also out on Sept 25 will be Miles Away’s new 7″ ‘Brainwashed’.

The Dead Walk ‘We Prowl The Streets’ tour
The Dead Walk are back out on the road next week where they will be joining Madball on the Brisbane, Sydney and Newcastle dates of their tour. The Dead Walk will then be playing shows throughout October including dates in Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. Check shows page for tour dates.

Madball Australian tour
New York Hardcore legends Madball are back in Australia from Sept 19-24 supporting their latest release ‘Legacy’. When it comes to the claims of who the ‘legends’ of the hardcore scene really are, some prime factors need to be taken into consideration – namely: influence, longevity and reputation. Madball – a pummeling staple of New York Hardcore since the band’s inception in 1988 – is one of the few groups that can lay claim to achieving high marks in regards to all of the above, while also maintaining an undying spirit that, to many, represents the heart of what hardcore is all about.

Outbreak Australian tour
Hailing from the once quiet state of Maine, Outbreak is known for their energetic, incendiary live shows and unstoppable work ethic. With an average age hovering around twenty, Outbreak has already released two EP’s and recently their debut album ‘Failure’ (Common Bond/Bridge 9). Having tours under their belt with everyone from Comeback Kid to Agnostic Front, Outbreak is carrying on their tradition of non-stop touring and like their lyrics say, “Don’t know where we’re heading, but the disease is spreading”. Outbreak will continue to hit every corner of the globe before the end of the year including a headline tour of Australia in October and November. Joining them will be Perth’s Miles Away.

Boston punk rockers The Unseen commence their first Australian Tour later this week, continuing through to mid September. Brisbane’s The Disables will be joining them along the way playing most dates, check the shows page for other supports and ticket info.

Parkway Drive return to Europe
Parkway Drive will this week commence there second European/UK Tour joining Shai Hulud and Remembering Never. In October they will be heading back to Australia where they will be touring as part of the Taste Of Chaos Festival, as well as playing at the Homebake Festival on December 2 in Sydney. The reissue of ‘Don’t Close Your Eyes’ Will be available September 18, which will include a remastered version of the original EP, as well as bonus material from the out of print split with I Killed The Prom Queen, What We Built and True till Death compilations.

The Dead Walk launch shows
The Dead Walk will be launching their brand new album on Saturday August 26 with 2 shows at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle. An All ages show will be held during the day, with an 18+ show at night. Jungle Fever and No Apologies will also be playing both these shows. The Dead Walk will be join Madball for some east coast dates in September before playing shows in Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne and Sydney throughout September/October.
