Resist Records Charity Auction Version 2.0
Resist recently set up an EBAY auction selling off rare, out of print and test press’s of various vinyl released over the years with all proceeds raised going to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal assisting those effected by the Queensland floods. Not long after launching, bands, artists and labels from around the world offered their support, donating various items towards the cause.
A new list of items have been added to the auction including a custom made guitar signed by Against Me!, silk screened posters by The Gaslight Anthem and Acacia Strain, rare vinyl from Hot Water Music, Chuck Ragan, Epitaph, Revelation, Jade Tree, Suburban Home, Bridge 9, No Idea, React and Trial & Error Records with many new items being added daily.

RESIST RECORDS EBAY AUCTION
Resist Records will be running an EBAY auction with all proceeds going to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal assisting those effected by the flooding in Queensland. Up for grabs will be rare and limited vinyl releases including coloured vinyl and test press’s from Mindsnare, Within Blood, A Death In the Family, Blkout, I Exist / Phantoms, The Dead Walk, Extortion, Carpathian and a coloured copy of Resist’s very first release Found My Direction’s “Before Their Time” 7.

TIM BARRY AUSTRALIAN TOUR APRIL 2011
Tim Barry’s been kicking around the musical underground for nearly 20 years, first as the front man for Virginia punk heroes Avail, and more recently as a singer-songwriter with a penchant for constructing beautiful folk and country tunes.
Tim’s been particularly busy the past few years, gigging relentlessly, including a couple months both here and overseas on the inaugural Revival Tour with fellow travelers Chuck Ragan, Ben Nichols, and Frank Turner, as well as supporting Against Me! and The Gaslight Anthem internationally.
Tim Barry will be returning this April for a run of dates supported by Chris Wollard and Addison Burns. Tickets are on sale January 14.

PUSH OVER FESTIVAL 2011
Victoria’s longest-running all ages live music festival Push Over returns to Melbourne’s Abbotsford Convent on Sunday 13 March.

PARKWAY DRIVE WINS ARIA AWARD
Parkway Drive were presented the inaugural ARIA for Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Album for their third album “Deep Blue”, at a ceremony in Sydney last night.
The award was announced during the first of five live shows, the iTunes Live: ARIA Awards Concert Series, held in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens in the build-up to Sunday’s ARIA Awards ceremony. (Sunday, 7 November on Network Ten)

TRIPLE J TV CONCERT SERIES WITH PARKWAY DRIVE
Recorded live at Festival Hall, Melbourne on Wednesday September 29, 2010, Triple J captured one of the craziest shows Festival Hall has ever seen. Playing to a capacity crowd, Parkway Drive fans were treated to songs from their recent album Deep Blue as well as classics from earlier releases. Highlights included a packed Festival Hall singing along to crowd favourites Unrest, Home Is For Heartless and Carrion as well as a surfing Oompa Loompa and the Ball Of Jeff.
Coming up in Ausmusic Month Parkway Drive Live at Festival Hall airs on ABC 2 on Monday November 22 at 11.25pm.
